NOTICE
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope this notice finds you well. It has come to our attention that some of our students have been experiencing symptoms of conjunctive eye infection. As a school community, the health and well-being of our students are of utmost importance to us.
Conjunctive eye infection, also known as conjunctivitis or "pink eye," is a highly contagious condition that affects the outer layer of the eye and inner surface of the eyelids. Common symptoms include redness, itching, swelling, excessive tearing, and discharge from the eye.
If your child is displaying any of these symptoms, we kindly request you to take the following actions:
1. Seek Medical Attention: Please consult a healthcare professional immediately for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Early medical intervention can prevent the spread of the infection and aid in a speedy recovery.
2. Keep Your Child at Home: For the well-being of your child and others, we request that you keep your child at home until they are completely symptom-free and no longer contagious. This will help prevent the spread of the infection to other students and staff.
3. Inform the School: Kindly inform the school about your child's condition by contacting the school office at [Contact Number]. This will allow us to track and monitor cases within the school and take necessary precautions.
We assure you that we are taking all necessary steps to maintain a safe and hygienic environment within the school premises. Our cleaning and sanitation protocols have been enhanced to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
As a precautionary measure, we also request all students and staff to practice good hygiene habits, such as regular handwashing, avoiding touching the eyes, and using tissues or handkerchiefs to cover the nose and mouth during coughing or sneezing.
If your child has missed any school days due to conjunctive eye infection, please ensure that they complete any missed assignments or coursework once they have fully recovered and are ready to return to school.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in ensuring the health and safety of our school community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
Stay safe and take care!
Sincerely,
